  2. I am just writing to thank you for the effort that both you and Jimmy have undertaken on our behalf, to ensure that our lives are made easier in the enormous task of renovating the cottage. From simply handling our correspondences with the various legal departments, ranging from the Notaire, Mayor, EDF, Telecom and various building suppliers even arraigning accounts with people we have not met who are prepared to wait until we arrive in France to pay them. Your grasp of our problems coupled with lack of our French and your excellent understanding of English continues to this day to amaze us. Having somebody on our side when attempting to get answers from bureaucrats is very helpful and we would be in trouble and having to rely on our poor French. Again we have to rely on your negotiating skills, with the Mayor to see if anything can be done to stop the flooding from the lane, whether they can enlarge the culvert or put extra drainage in, this is the second time recently this has happened. Both Kath and I feel we have become friends over the years and now the project is slowly coming to a conclusion, where we can enjoy the fruits of both your and our labour, this is just to say a heart felt thank you to you and jimmy plus molly of course.   3. Alex has been very helpful and trustwotthy with the conversion of my French property. She arranged my septic tank from the first drawing to the final construction saving me after many phone calls and meetings over one thousand euros. -Derek
